As of Friday, we will be opening the first safe house for victims of sex trafficking in the state of Utah. We are so blessed to be able to provide this service, with 4 beds in a comfortable home, and are looking forward to providing the best kind of care to those who find their way to our door.

We are currently campaigning for donations so that we can continue to provide this service. Donations can be made using the Star's Retreat SAFE HOUSE campaign

EXCITING NEWS! Directly from Laurin:

Dear Friends,
Let me confirm the rumors. Let me shout from the rooftop, because yesterday RockStarr Ministries made history in securing the first house that will take in victims of human trafficking in Utah. I give all the glory to God, as this seemed an impossible dream just two months ago. Yet here we are. With a great house in a great location. Four bedrooms, and access to transportation and downtown.

We. Did. It.

The hard part isn't over yet. We've only just begun. We'd like to open our doors to victims immediately. But we are not able to yet. We need to out fit this home with couches, beds, dressers, tables, desks and chairs. We also need linens and towels, blankets and flat ware. We need kitchen bowls and toasters, pots and pans. We especially need someone to donate a stove/oven (electric) for our kitchen. Books and art would only bless our safe house.

It seems like so much. We have nothing. But who am I to doubt? I thought opening the first safe house was an impossibility, and here we are. The next couple of weeks, let's think of it as an, open, open house/house warming.
As much as we'd love to invite you all over, we must secure and keep the location secret to ensure safety for our residents.

I know, through much faith, this house will come together quickly. God wants us to help folks. To change lives. Gently used items are much appreciated as well as gift cards to local grocers and home supply stores.

Thank you for getting us here today. Let's build this home together. Let's provide comfort and safety for our folks who have taken a chance to come here, and change their lives.
